How to copy email headers for an email message?

Below are quick steps to get the email headers to use in this tool from various email clients.

Gmail

• Open the email in your Gmail account whose headers you want to view.
• Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the Gmail web app.
• Click on 'Show original' from the dropdown menu. This will open a new tab with the email headers and other raw data.
• Click on ‘Copy to Clipboard’

Outlook (Web)

• Go to Outlook on the web and open the email you want the header for.
• Click the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of the email.
• Select 'View message source' to see the email headers.

Outlook (Desktop)

• Open the email you need the header for in the Outlook desktop app.
• Click on ‘File’ in the top menu.
• Select ‘Properties’ from the options.
• Locate the ‘Internet headers’ box. You will find the headers there.

Apple Mail
